Helyhez köthető elöljárók

Ma azokkal az elöljárókkal foglakozunk amelyek személyek, állatok, tárgyak egymáshoz való viszonyát fejezik ki. 

 

 Between 
Jelentése: (két személy vagy tágy) között

Pl:The penguin children are between their parents.
The girl stays between two car.
The dog sleeps between a sofa and a chair.

 Near 
Jelentése: közel, mellette

Pl: There is a shop near the bank.

The chair is near the piano. 

Close to
The shop is close to the station.

 

 Next to
Jelentése: mellett, mellé

Pl: The little cat is next to the rabit. 
There is a bed  next to a bookshelf.
He sits next to the corner.

 Beside 

Jelentése: mellett, mellé

Pl: There is a hotel  beside the park.

He sat beside a nice girl.

  

 

 In front of 

Jelentése: előtt, elé
 

Pl:The dog sits in front of his house.
A car is parking in front of my house.

 

 Before

Jelentése: előtt, elé 

Pl: He walked before me in the streat.
I finished before my friend in the race.

 

 Behind

Jelentése: mögött, mögé - az előző két elöljáró ellentéte

Pl: He is behind the wall.
My dog is always behind me.
 

 After

Jelentése: után  - legikább mozgást, sorrendet jelent

Pl:He runs after him. 
The slave works behind his friend.
